SilverShield by netWell is designed for eligible adults age 65 through 84 who are enrolled in Original Medicare Parts A and B. Medicare processes your medical services first. SilverShield then considers eligible Medicare-approved out-of-pocket expenses for sharing after your selected Annual Cost-Sharing Amount, or ACSA, has been satisfied.
With three ACSA options and additional member resources included, SilverShield gives members another way to prepare for eligible Medicare cost-sharing while staying with Original Medicare.
The current program provides a $50,000 annual sharing maximum and $100,000 lifetime sharing maximum per member.
